Q: I have downloaded the newest version but one or both do now update.

A: Clear all browser cache files or the easier way is download the files using an Incognito window to be confident it will download the most recent file. Your browser has a way of keeping like-files in cache and not allowing to download a new.

Q: The Status Box does not displays upon installation or the AP displays $0 upon activation.

A: There must be data movement to calculate. If running Market Playback, start the play button to import price data. If running on SIM, the market session must be open in order to import and collect tick data.

Q: Balance does not match my broker after a trade.

A: Check that commissions have correct value. NinjaTrader accounts do not automatically assign the appropriate commission template in Control Center. Please review the How-To apply commissions video.

Q: How can I adjust (or confirm) the AP (Account Peak) currency to match Rithmic.

A: Using Rithmic's "Auto Liquidation Threshold Value" add the margin allowance for the selected account (by default $2500 for a $50k account), this is the true Account Peak value. Then calculate to find the difference between this Account Peak value and Status Box displayed value. This is the needed adjustment amount.

    Auto Liquidation Threshold Value + Margin = Account Peak (AP)

    Net Liquidation (Account Balance) - Auto Liquidation Threshold Value = Drawdown (DD)

    True Account Peak (AP) - Status Box AP = Adjustment Difference

Step 2) Navigate to Control Center/New/StatusBoxAddOn, enter this adjustment amount ("-" for negative adjustments) in the "AP Adjmt" column. Select Unrealized or Realized AP (depending on your broker's calculation) in the drop-down window and click Apply. The AddOn Tool will automatically Save and Close. The Status Box AP and the broker's value will now match once market data is connected.

Additionally, you must have commissions set within NinjaTrader to continue this proper calculation. See HowTo video below.

Q: Other chart drawings and lines draw over the Status Box making it difficult to read.

A: Right click in your chart: Properties and enable "Allow the selection or drag/drop of chart series", click Ok. If desired, save chart as preset for future charts. Step 2: Single click on Status Box to make active, while holding down the Shift key, scroll the mouse wheel bringing the indicator to Level 1 on top of all others.

Q: How to remove old accounts that display in the AddOn Tool?

A: Close NinjaTrader. Rename the "C:/Document/NinjaTrader 8/db/NinjaTrader.sqlite file to NinjaTrader-OLD.sqlite. Relaunch NinjaTrader.

Q: I've downloaded the file but it does not update version numbers.

A: This will answer both conditions. a) If you've saved a default template within the indicator/strategy, click template in the bottom right, and click reset. The version number will refresh. b) If you've recently downloaded a file but it doesn't upgrade, clear your browser's cache and download the file again to force the retrieval of the newest file.
